Across Cuba, local churches are experiencing revival despite severe economic hardship, lack of resources and increasing restrictions.

When Growth Meets Limited Resources

Years of economic hardship have created shortages of power, food, medicine, fuel, and basic building materials. Rising costs and limited income make everyday life difficult and leave many pastors and churches with few resources to expand.

Because constructing or registering church buildings can also be difficult, many congregations gather in pastors’ homes. As churches grow, those homes quickly run out of room.
